Description

Axis 2Wire is a converter that allows you to connect any IP device in places without an IP infrastructure. You only need to use the existing cable wiring from a doorbell or telephone. Whats more one cable is all you need for both data transfer and power supply.

  • Easy installation - No more configuring At each end of the cable you just plug in one Axis 2Wire unit and connect at least one of them to a power source
  • Long reach - Powering the IP-connected devices via PoE is possible up to a distance of 220 m twice the maximum Ethernet specification cable length
  • Using legacy analog 2 wire cabling for IP intercom connection including PoE power supply
  • Saves cost for UTP cabling and makes possible to install IP intercoms on legacy infrastructure
  • Alternatively one master unit can support up to four slaves
  • Long range Ethernet extension over 2 wires or coax
  • IEEE 802.3 af/at Compliant 40 Watt PoE for IP intercom power supply
