This provides a perfect solution to add multiple displays USB accessories and Ethernet while charging your laptop all at the same time.When connected to a host computer with USB-C ports that support USB Power Delivery the dock will connect peripherals and charge the laptop over a single USB-C cable. USB-A enabled laptops can be charged from the dock using the ALOGIC DCAP-SPL USB-C Data + Power Splitter (available separately).The CD2 docks can also operate without an external power supply while on the go powered from the computer’s USB port. The docks USB-C ports are not available for use when a power adapter is not connected due to power constraints.
