Shopping Cart Help

A cookie containing nothing but a number is sent to you at the start of your visit to identify you & keep your order on our server. The most common reason why the cart might not work is that your computer's time has been set to the wrong timezone, and the cookie is being rejected because the timestamp it has is too far in the past or future to be correct. Go to Control Panel (Start, Settings, Control Panel), open the Date and Time / Regional Settings, and make sure your PC is set to the correct timezone for your area of Australia or New Zealand, and is showing the correct current date and time.

You might also not have cookies turned on in your browser. Cookies turned off means we (and many other websites) can't identify you from one page to the next. If your ISP uses a transparent proxy, they may not be sending you the most recent version of our site, and you should Shift- or Control-Refresh the pages. Go to Tools, Internet options, General, Settings and set it to Every visit to the page. Some cookie blocking applications, like Spysweeper, will prevent our cookie from being sent or will delete it automatically - turn these off or configure them to accept our site. Also, some firewalls will prevent the cookie from being transmitted back to us, in that case, please contact us on 02 9646 8000 or e-mail us.

Just click on the links in the Navigation box at the top of the page to browse the product types we carry. Once you are in one of our product list pages, just click the product code, picture or description to get a page of information about that product. If you're after a specific product, use the Search Box at the very top right of the page, which looks for the complete words you typed in the description and info pages we use for our products.

In Stock - means we have this product in stock at our Auburn warehouse, ready for immediate shipping or collection.

In Stock At Supplier - means we do not have any on hand, but our supplier had some the last time we ran their datafeed update and we will normally collect and ship it within 1 business day

1 - 2 days - means we do not have any on hand, but can get it from our supplier once we verify they have stock. For some suppliers, this status means stock is only available interstate.

Pre-Order - means this may be available in the future, and we can back-order it for you. ETA refers to the date when the supplier expects stock to arrive in the country.

Special - means this product is in stock, has a reduced price or limited availability until sold.

New - means this product is in stock, and is a new item in our list.

Member Special - means this product is in stock at a reduced price to Members (Log in to the Member Area to buy these)

Member Freebie - you can have these for free (one per order), when shipped with any orders over $50

Order In Only - means that this product is ordered in specially for you, and is not normally able to be returned when you have a change of mind.

Whilst our website does indicate that a product is/isn't in stock at our warehouse in real time, the "In Stock at Supplier" indication is only updated as frequently as the supplier allows - see below for details. We recommend that you contact us to confirm availability of any product where you wish to personally collect it from our storefront, or you have an urgent need/time constraint on it's delivery to you.

One of the downsides to doing regular price updates with supplier datafeeds is that the suppliers will occasionally stuff-up their data and give us prices of $0 or $1 for products, when the correct price they sell for is actually way higher than that. This kind of error is occasionally passed on to our update engine, due to the fact that we can't parse all these updates by hand, because there's more than 12,000 products to update.

We normally catch these supplier errors when they happen, but the occasional one does get through to our site - please note that we will not complete any orders where a supplier update has resulted in an obviously-incorrect price - errors and omissions are excepted as part of our terms of sale, so we will normally cancel any such orders.

Just click the Buy button next to the price. Each click will increase the quantity by 1. Or, type in the number you want to buy, and click or press Enter. You need to click or press Enter for each different line item you want to add. If you place a zero in the quantity box and press Buy, this will remove the part from your cart. Once you have what you need in your cart, visit the Checkout to complete your order.

In order to save carts and check out, you need an account here (it's based on your email address and a password of your choice, and you can use it here the moment you've created it, without waiting on tedious verification emails). There are two easy ways to do this:

1: Put something in your cart by pressing a Buy button, then View your cart, and Save your cart - you will be prompted to make an account with just your name, email address and password details needed.

2: Buy something and check out - the checkout form will let you enter all your details, including your shipping address.

This will happen if you are using Internet Explorer 6 - this elderly browser was released in 2001, is very insecure, and is not supported by many servers now. Many features of a lot of websites will not work properly with IE6, and we've designed our site to make your browsing experience as seamless as possible, which tends to require a modern browser.

Please consider upgrading your PC with Firefox or a later version of Internet Explorer. You can also place your order via phone on 02 9646 8000 or e-mail us.
