We are starting a new project and need a Developer for a short to medium term contract to join our team. You will be working with our in-house team to develop modules and extensions to our existing systems. The tasks will be broken down to weekly/bi-weekly projects that will be paid per hour on completion.

The applicant will need the following experience/abilities :-

• An excellent understanding of PHP and an understanding of OO design and implementation.
• Strong HTML/CSS/Javascript
• Ability to use a Linux development platform and the tools we use (eg. vim, git, ssh, rsync, etc)
• Database experience (PostgreSQL experience an advantage, but not necessary)
• A good understanding of source control (experience with git an advantage)

The applicant will also require the following qualities :-

• Excellent spoken and written English.
• The ability to work efficiently unassisted for periods of time.
• Can handle instruction.
• A punctual and a clean work manner.

We will provide a desktop computer with two monitors and a quiet desk to work. You will be required to come into our office between 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday as required. No work can be done externally and all source code must stay within our systems.
